The 61’ Hatteras is a 3-stateroom, 3-head vessel with a large “wide-body” salon and equally impressive full-beam master stateroom. In the cockpit, you will find a fighting chair and cushioned coaming bolsters to make for a comfortable fishing experience. Ascending the steps on the starboard side, you enter the enclosed, climate controlled aft deck. This area is complemented by a large, teak dining table with seating for 8, a bar area with fridge/freezer, a ladder leading to the flybridge, and aft facing engine controls for backing down and docking. This area also has opening windows and strataglass curtains for fresh air. Entering the salon through the double doors, you will instantly be impressed by the open feeling of this large, tastefully decorated space. There is a full-size sofa to port, complemented by a loveseat to starboard, and a large, round coffee table and end table to complete the main seating area. Moving forward, you find an aft facing TV flush-mounted into the bar, which separates the salon from the pilothouse. To port there are three bar stools which allow guests to interact with other passengers both fore and aft. In the wheelhouse, you will find a new (2015) teak and holly sole, and a comfortable double helm seat, which offers great visibility for safe navigation. Additionally, you have doors to port and starboard which lead to the foredeck. Descending the stairs to starboard, you enter the well-appointed galley. This area boasts a large commercial-grade refrigerator, and all new stainless steel appliances (2015). Forward of the galley is the third stateroom/crew quarters. This area features an ensuite head and upper/lower twin bunks. This area also houses the washer/dryer combination unit. Moving aft past the galley and down to the lower deck, you have the twin-berth guest stateroom to port, with head/shower directly across the hall to starboard. Continuing aft you have the split engine room arrangement, with multiple entrances and access hatches to both engine rooms. At the end of the companionway, you have the master stateroom. This extremely private suite features a full ensuite head with tub/shower, and boasts plenty of storage, including a cedar lined closet, nightstands and desk/vanity. It is also very well lit, including a sliding glass window over the centerline queen bed, which opens to the aft cockpit.

Large wide-body design with two sofas and three bar stools, providing seating for 8. Tons of natural light fills this tastefully decorated space, and allows for fantastic views while cruising, not to mention docking and running in congested waters. A large TV is flush-mounted forward, and a small bar is located to port, just aft of the pilothouse.
Beautiful custom galley with all stainless steel appliances (all new in 2015, except for commercial grade refrigerator). Teak and holly floors, and plenty of storage for extended cruising.
The full-beam master stateroom is located just forward of the cockpit and has plenty of light. There is tons of storage here, more than enough to satisfy liveaboards and long-range cruisers. The ensuite head is complete with vanity and full-size bathtub with shower. The closet is cedar lined, and there is small writing desk to starboard, as well as a TV overhead.
The guest stateroom is located to port on the lower level, just forward of the engine room, and has twin beds. The guest head with shower is located to starboard, directly across from this stateroom.
The foredeck has a cushioned seating area, just aft of the bow, and large stainless steel railings with teak cap-rail surround the entire deck. There are two large deck-boxes on the bow, and there is a windlass assembly for the anchor, which stows below the teak-decked pulpit forward. Access to the foredeck is via port and starboard doors leading from the lower helm. The aft cockpit is accessed from the main-deck aft via stairs to starboard, and then exiting to the swim platform via the transom door to port. There are hawes-pipes for guiding dock lines, padded coaming bolsters, and a fighting chair to complete this functional, open space.
