Since her launch in 2009 Bella Vita has been a dream come true to her owners. She was never a bare-boat charter. Bella Vita has the ideal layout, with the 4 double cabins with en-suite (head and shower).
Bridge, salon, galley and deck are all on the same level and open onto the huge cockpit, sun lounge, outdoor dining area and stairs to the helm.
Having been bought primarily as an ocean going vessel capable of remaining for long periods of time away from land and in all sort of conditions, Bella Vita was chosen and equipped accordingly. Her hulls are streamlined enough to provide speed and a comfortable motion through the water (minimizing pitching or see-sawing movements), yet are designed to reduce wind funneling beneath. High bridge-deck also means less 'slapping', which is often a problem with catamarans. Equipment-wise, this Salina 48 provides everything you could wish for, including 180L/H water maker, scuba equipment, 220V generator, additional freezer and storage space (where single berth midships are normally situated).
The Fontaine Pajot Salina 48 is a proper ship, designed with strength, safety and stability in mind as the flagship of the Fontaine Pajot range, which evolve from the celebrated Bahia 46 to produce a yacht which has been awarded all around the world as a master piece. Yet in spite of her obvious sea keeping qualities, the Salina 48 is also a yacht above the rest when it comes to the wow factor. Luxury on board Bella Vita is felt as much as seen, with an attention to detail equal to none. Beautiful joinery, silky blond timber throughout, top quality leather and stainless steel work, designer fittings, lights (LED throughout), etc. which combine to create a sleek yet warm interior, unlike many other production catamarans, which have often been thought too 'plastic'.
In perfect condition and ready to keep going on her voyage around the world, Bella Vita is your chance to walk into your dream and sail away!
