DETAILS

The saloon is entered from the covered aft deck through the aluminum weather-tight door, and is bright and airy by virtue of large opening windows port and starboard and an opening window in the aft bulkhead. To starboard is an L-shaped settee with a teak hi-lo table. To port is a settee that converts to a double berth. Forward of the settee is a desk with built-in storage and bookshelf. There is custom carpeting throughout, and a Phantom retractable screen.

The U-shaped galley is located to starboard, forward of the saloon. Everything is in easy reach yet the spacious Corian® countertops offer the necessary space for preparing a gourmet meal in your favorite secluded anchorage. The primary components include:

The master stateroom features a queen-sized island berth, outstanding storage and hanging locker space, mirrored dresser,  five opening ports and a large opening hatch. The stateroom is warm and inviting, and the fit and finish is first class.

The head is to starboard, aft of the master stateroom. It has a separate stall shower, VacuFlush® head, opening port and a Corian® countertop.

The pilothouse is located up and forward of the saloon/galley, and is proper in every way. There are Dutch aluminum side doors port and starboard, a raised settee that converts to a double berth, chart storage and a well thought-out helm. There is an opening port that also serves as a pass-through to the flybridge. There is ample room for chart work as well as connections for your laptop.

Construction

  • Hull and superstructure molds from high-grade female tooling
  • Hull construction includes use of USA-made, Cook gelcoat. Hand laid Kyntex fiberglass construction closed cell PVC sandwich core used in topsides. Solid fiberglass below waterline with blister-resistant vinylester resin utilized on first two laminates below the waterline with Kevlar reinforcements
  • Superstructure includes end-grain balsa core and Kyntex surface mats for print-through reduction.
  • Teak aft and side decks. Boat and foredecks have GripTex nonskid finish. Bulwark molded plant lines with gelcoat finish.
  • Polyurethane formulate marine sealants used at hull-to-deck, boat deck joints and exterior fittings.
  • Marine grade plywood bulkheads with molded fiberglass that section stringers
  • Teak veneer walls and cabinetry with satin varnish.

Decks The covered aft deck is the ideal place for early morning coffee or enjoying the perfect sunset. There are hinged boarding gates port and starboard, a large transom door leading to the swim platform and a very large lazarette hatch and storage area. There are covered side decks port and starboard giving safe and easy access to the pilothouse and foredeck. High, polished stainless steel rails guard the foredeck and bow pulpit. The boat deck and flybridge are accessed from the aft deck via a sturdy ladder with wide teak treads. The boat deck provides storage for the RIB® dinghy, and it too is well protected by stainless steel rails. The flybridge had a pedestal mounted helm seat and side seating port and starboard.
