43' Albin 1987 R N R

Special 43 with a newer generator, newer electronics and bow and stern thrusters!

ALL Exterior teak and teak decks are in the process of being sanded to bare wood so the new owner can decided what to do with the teak.

Based upon the popular Albin 43 Trawler that preceded her by two years in the Albin fleet, the 43 Sundeck features a full-width aft deck (as opposed to the trunk cabin profile of the 43 Trawler) and slightly larger aft cabin dimensions than her sistership. In other respects, the two boats are about the same. The hull is constructed of solid fiberglass, and a full-length keel provides grounding protection for the running gear. The two-stateroom, galley-down floorplan allows for plenty of cruising space and the fully enclosed flybridge and aft deck make a large outside living and relaxation area. Well-crafted teak interior paneling and joinery abound, and large wraparound windows allow for plenty of natural salon lighting.

Twin 210 hp Cummins will cruise at 12–13 knots and burn 5.5 gph at 1800 rpm! Bow and stern thrusters make docking a breeze!

Enter the wide side deck from either the port or starboard boarding gate. Once onboard you have a complete walkaround access to the bow and stern by way of the wide side deck and Sunbrella aft deck wing doors. There is a sliding pilothouse door on the starboard side that enters directly into the salon. From the side deck and aft, up a few steps, is the aft deck. The large aft deck features (4) chairs and (4) small tables, a wet bar with storage and access to both the swim platform or flybridge. The bridge is up a few steps and is large enough to handle a crowd. The open floor plan allows the bridge to have direct sight lines into the aft deck. The bridge features port and starboard settees as well as helm seating. The helm seat has excellent visibility and all helm instrumentation and gauges are within easy reach.

Back to the aft deck and down a few steps is the salon. The interior of the Albin 43 has teak and holly flooring, teak woodwork and cabinets, and beautiful overhead with teak trim and handrails throughout. The salon has a starboard side L-shaped settee and a port side long settee with storage under the top. There are built-in bookcases port and starboard and storage cabinets forward. Down a few steps is the galley area. A port side dinette converts into a large berth. The table is a high/low table and features two folding sections to make the table a wonderful dining area for 6. The seats are fore and aft facing and outboard there is storage. Across is the U-shaped galley with plenty of countertop spaces and storage to meet any demands. Further forward and to port is the head. The head features and electric toilet and vanity with sink and storage. The floor has a removable teak grate. All the way forward is the guest stateroom with a V-berth and filler cushion, outboard shelving and plenty of hanging locker and storage space.

Back to the salon and down a few port side steps is the master cabin. The queen berth is centerline and there are large storage lockers and drawers on both the port and starboard side. The berth has nightstands. Large hanging lockers forward and to port. Access into the ensuite head is forward and to starboard. The head is large and has a tub/shower combo, electric toilet and vanity with sink and storage.

The galley is down three steps from the main salon and offers excellent food preparation and storage. The galley will please any discriminating onboard chef.
